Dear Pre-K Family!!!

This week we took an opportunity to explore "Fall" in all it's beauty and color!!!

We boarded the big yellow bus, buckled our seat belts and set of on an adventure. With bags in our hands the class entered the Majestic Prospect Park on a hunt for "Fall Treasure."

 While collecting colorful leaves we talked about their shape and color.

 We even found a tree that was turning RED!!!

 Jumping in the crunchy leaves was so much fun!!!

 We went through the woods listening to the sound of the forest, smelling the fresh air, crunching leaves under our feet and having fun exploring nature!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

 We talked about different types of trees: trees that change color and trees that stay forever green even in the Fall, like Pine trees.

 

We even found some acorns, little branches and acorn hats :)

 

 

 It was time to go, 

thank you mother nature for a beautiful day

full of sun shine and fun!!!

Our trip served as an opportunity to build greater friendships,

and discover new friends!!!

 
 

 

 

 

 

After a hardy lunch and some rest time, we opened our bags full of "Fall Treasure"

 

 

 Using only natural ingredients,

we made our very own and unique creations - "Leaf Men"
