Letter "T"

Morah Rebecca's "show and tell box" for the letter of the week :)

We met Tom the Turtle

and

Talked about the importance of brushing our teeth every morning and every night.

 We practiced writing the letter on the board,

always starting from top to bottom,

using our very strong three fingers!!!

(thumb, pointer, and middle)

We discussed as a class the importance of using manners by the table.  We stressed the significance of using only polite and kind words,  pouring only half way: cup or bowl, holding utensils using our same strong fingers as we write with,  helping pass around the food while exercising spacial awareness and independence.

 Last week we had many friends who were home sick :( 

We missed them all so much!!! We talked about the power behind making our friends feel better by making them feel happy and missed, and in general, on every day basis.

Our "Refua Sheleyma -  Get Well Song"definitely does the trick!!! 

Sculpting letter "T" out of colorful clay. 

 Clay's hard consistency provides a great exercise for those muscles 

in our fingers, as well as building visual memory of what a letter 

"T" looks like.

A Game of Letter Review!!!

A sneak peak into our classroom's Public Speaking. 

Weekend news pictures, show and tell items for the letter of the week,

Morah's weather and calender helpers, etc. are all a part of this great program.

It encourages language fluency, clear expression of thought, builds self confidence

and is a great source of self esteem!!!
